Terms & Free Entry Route
Draft — placeholder pending legal review
Free entry route (no purchase necessary)
You do not need to buy a ticket to enter any raffle. A free entry has exactly the same chance of winning as a paid ticket. Free and paid entries are drawn from the same pool with equal weight. To enter for free, use the free postal entry route (one entry per person per raffle) described on the Free Postal Entry page and below.
Provably-fair draws
Before a raffle opens we publish a commitment (the SHA-256 hash of a secret seed). At close, the winner is determined by combining that seed with an external public randomness beacon. We then reveal the seed so anyone can verify the result on the raffle’s verification page. Neither we nor any entrant can influence the outcome.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or over and a UK resident to enter. We may ask you to verify your age and identity before paying out a prize.
Postal free entry
Send your name, email, and the raffle title by post to the address published for that raffle before its closing time. Postal entries are added to the same draw pool as online entries.
Responsible play
Set your own limits and only spend what you can afford. If gambling is affecting you, support is available from GamCare (gamcare.org.uk) and BeGambleAware (begambleaware.org).
These terms are a working draft and must be finalised with a solicitor, including the appropriate UK licensing/exemption structure, before the platform accepts real money.
